Our Mission

SPIN’s mission is to help children with special needs achieve their full potential by empowering their families and the professionals who serve them through information, support and resources.

Serving Santa Cruz and San Benito Counties

What We Offer

Educational sessions designed to help parents and caregivers better understand special education, disability rights, and available community resources. Our workshops provide practical tools, guidance on navigating school systems, and strategies to support children with diverse learning and developmental needs.
Safe and welcoming spaces where parents and caregivers can connect with others who share similar experiences. These groups provide emotional support, opportunities to exchange advice, and a sense of community for families raising children with disabilities or special needs.
Personalized support that helps families build relationships, find resources, and feel less alone in their journey. Through peer connections and community networking, parents can share knowledge, learn from one another, and strengthen their ability to advocate for their children.
